As a new player in Genshin Impact, you probably have encountered shrines with luxurious chest trapped inside it. These are called Shrine of Depths and you will need to get a key to open it. There are 20 Shrines of Depths in Genshin Impact and each region has 10 of them highlighted as green in Mondstadt and yellow in Liyue. In this guide, we will show you where to find all the Shrine of Depths and where to get the keys to open it.
Mondstadt Shrine Of Depths Locations
You can get 7 Mondstadt Shrine Of Depths Keys from one time domains such as Temple of The Falcon, Temple of the Wolf, Temple of the Lion, and Eagle’s Gate as a reward. You’ll also get them upon completing Ascension Domain 1 that rewards you 3 keys.
The other 2 keys are obtainable from the Adventurer Handbook, specifically the chapter 4 task “Upgrade the Statues of The Seven in Mondstadt to Lv. 6” and chapter 5 task “Open 100 Chests”.
The last key can be gotten as a reward from the quest “New Horizons of Adventure” but you need to complete the Archon Quest “For a tomorrow without tears” first before you can take it.
Liyue Shrine Of Depths Locations
You can get 4 Liyue Shrine Of Depths keys as a reward from Domain of Forsaken Ruins, Domain of the Wayward Path and Hidden Palace of Guizang Formula will give 2 keys for each level. There are also 3 keys that you can get from completing the “The Chi of Guyun”, “The Tree who Stands Alone”, “Treasure Lost, Treasure Found”.
Another way to get Liyue Shrine Of Depths Key is by completing an Adventurer Rank 35 Ascension quest which will reward you with 3 more keys. Unlocking all of these shrines will complete an achievement that rewards you a cosmetic namecard for your account.
