I am only interested in Lynette and only after we get the Hydro Archon. I likes me some catgirls. Femboys are an EZ skip.

I’m a little disappointed that Lynette and Lyney aren’t combined into one character like I wanted. It would’ve been cool to have a character like Blueberry Blitz and Molotov Cherry from Honkai Impact 3rd. They could have worked together on the battlefield and maybe even had a special move where they tag in and out.

If Lynnette becomes a five star she can take my money

Lynette is like a character who can boost the power of other characters with wind abilities, similar to Kazuha. Lyney, on the other hand, is probably a character who can do strong fire attacks and make use of Lynette’s boost. For example, if Lynette swirls an element, it gives a big damage bonus to that element for the next attack. Lyney can quickly switch to that element and take advantage of the boost for a powerful combo. Or maybe Lynette gives a damage boost to any element she swirls, like Shenhe does, and Lyney can do a lot of fast fire attacks to make the most of the boost.

Usually, characters from each region work well with their powerful leaders (called archons). For example, Liyue characters need protection, Inazuma characters need a lot of energy, and Sumuru characters benefit from high elemental mastery. So I think the new characters will work well with the Hydro Archon. Since we already have many good Hydro characters, it’s hard to imagine how the Archon could replace them. She would need to be able to hit multiple enemies at once to apply Hydro more effectively than characters like Xingqiu or Yelan. She would also need to apply Hydro quickly to compete with Kokomi and have a long duration or be able to fight from a distance like Childe. On top of that, she would need to be better than characters like Ayato in many aspects. If I had to guess, she might be similar to Kokomi or Childe in terms of applying Hydro, which would make her a good fit for teams that use the Freeze or Xiangling strategies.

If that’s the case, then Lyney is probably a powerful character, like a 5-star version of Xiangling. Lynette, on the other hand, might be a similar level character to Kazuha but with some special synergy with Lyney.

Perhaps Lynette will be similar to Kazuha and serve as an elemental support character.
