Keqing Skills
Like her personality, Keqing’s swordwork is both swift and uncompromising. This along with her control of electro brings a shockingly abrupt end to any enemy.
Perform up to 5 rapid strikes.
Charge Attack
Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to unleash 2 rapid sword strikes.
Plunge Attack
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below damaging enemies along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Keqing can unleash a combo of up to 5 normal attacks. Her final strike allowing her to pass through enemies. Yunlai Swordsmanship is both offensive and defensive offering a way to dodge some attacks and strike back from a better angle.
Hold
Hold to adjust the direction in which the Stiletto shall be thrown. Stilettos thrown by the Hold attack mode can be suspended in mid-air, allowing Keqing to jump to them when using Stellar Restoration a second time.
Lightning Stiletto
If Keqing uses Stellar Restoration again or uses a Charged Attack while its duration lasts, it will clear the Stiletto Mark and produce different effects:
- If she uses Stellar Restoration again, she will blink to the location of the Mark and unleash one slashing attack that deals AoE Electro DMG. When blinking to a Stiletto that was thrown from a Holding attack, Keqing can leap across obstructing terrain.
- If Keqing uses a Charged Attack, she will ignite a series of thundering cuts at Mark’s location, dealing AoE Electro DMG.
Tap Keqing’s elemental skill to throw a Lightning Stiletto which deals electro damage to enemies in a small area upon impact and leaves behind a Lightning Stiletto marker. If Keqing uses Stellar Restoration again while the marker is still present she flies to the marker and performs a quick slash dealing electro AoE damage. With the Lightning Stiletto, Keqing can flash into battle and attack from the best position. It can also be used in exploration to navigate challenging terrain.
After unlocking the Talent “Thundering Penance”, using Stellar Restoration while the Lightning Stiletto is present will convert Keqing’s normal and charged attacks to Electro damage for a short time.
Keqing unleashes her Electro power causing Electro AoE damage. Hiding behind the shadow of her sword she relentlessly slashes surrounding enemies at lightning speed dealing multiple rounds of damage with a final burst of Electro AoE damage at the end. This skill has a long animation that can be used to I-frame enemy attacks.
After unlocking the Talent “Aristocratic Dignity”, casting Starward Sword increases Keqing’s Crit Rate and Energy Recharge for a period of time.
The key to combat with Keqing is mastery of the Lightning Stiletto. First, use her Elemental Skill to place the stiletto then use her Elemental Skill again to zip into battle and strike quickly. Follow up with more Electro damage using her Elemental skill to suppress the enemy and continue to use the Lightning Stiletto at opportune moments to frequently move and attack. Keep up the offensive to rapidly accumulate Energy and once full, it is time to unleash Starward Sword and bring the fight to a perfect end.

is keqing stronger than razor? i got them both on dance of lanterns banner.
Both are good! razor has a higher damage value than her but if prefer Keqing because of her versatility. There are too many factors and it will come down to your preference, gameplay, and team members. I would suggest you play both characters and decide which one you like.
My electro Keqing mains, what sword is better? Black sword or Lion’s Roar? I currently have Black Sword R2 but noticed Lion’s Roar is rate up on the next weapon banner. I’ve scoured the Keqing main subreddit but got some mixed results.
If your crit rate is higher than %50 or Lions Roar has refinement LR is better Otherwise choose blacksword.
Lion’s roar has higher damage potential given that you have enough crit rate and is going electro build, while black sword gives you an advantage of farming artifacts easier since you dont have to bother about crit rate and because of the lifesteal passive you can play more recklessly.
If you have enough crit, you can use lions roar. But if not, its better to use black sword. You have to get the crit appear consistently.
lions roar will have bigger number but harder to build because of less crit rate, also can utilize keqing E and Q to the maximum potential while blacksword is easier to build but only auto attack and charged attack on par with lions roar, E and Q will have way more lower dmg, but u have some heal tho… have tested, same control group, no argument.
