Plunging: Midare Ranzan | Within 10s of remaining airborne after casting Chihayaburu, Kazuha can unleash a powerful Plunging Attack known as Midare Ranzan. When a Plunging Attack is performed using the effects of the Elemental Skill Chihayaburu, the Plunging Attack DMG is converted to Anemo DMG. On landing, Kazuha creates a small wind tunnel via a secret blade technique that pulls in nearby objects and opponents. Midare Ranzan’s DMG is considered a Plunging Attack DMG. |

Tap his Elemental Skill to unleash a secret blade technique pulling enemies and objects toward him, launching enemies within his range, and dealing Anemo DMG. Kazuha uses the gust of wind generated in this moment to soar up into the air.
For a short period after using Chihayaburu, while Kazuha remains airborne he can unleash a powerful Plunging Attack “Midare Ranzan”. The DMG dealt by this Plunging Attack is converted to Anemo DMG. When Kazuha lands, he uses another secret blade technique to create a wind tunnel that pulls in nearby enemies and objects. With this effect, Kazuha can concentrate enemies in one place, allowing other party members to attack more efficiently.
Chihayaburu is a skill that can be used while airborne giving Kazuha great agility when out exploring. When Chihayaburu is held instead of tapped, Kazuha deals increased Anemo DMG over a wider area. After unlocking the Talent “Soumon Swordsmanship,” Kazuha’s Elemental Skill can absorb Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, or Electro when cast.
If a “Midare Ranzan” Plunging Attack is performed before Chihayaburu’s effects expire it deals additional Elemental DMG of the absorbed element. Only one elemental absorption can occur per Chihayaburu.

Kaedehara Kazuha’s Elemental Burst is the pinnacle achievement of his self-taught bladework. He strikes with the force of the first winds of autumn, dealing AoE Anemo DMG. This attack produces a field called Autumn Whirlwind and the field periodically deals Anemo DMG to enemies within it.
If Autumn Whirlwind comes into contact with Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, or Electro it will absorb that element and deal additional Elemental DMG. This elemental absorption may only occur once in its duration. Kazuha can use the Autumn Whirlwind field to easily affect multiple enemies with an element creating ideal opportunities for his allies to attack.
For a set duration after Kazuha triggers a Swirl reaction, all party members receive a DMG Bonus for the corresponding element. The Bonus scales off of Kazuha’s Elemental Mastery, If multiple Elemental DMG Bonuses are gained in this manner, they are applied concurrently.

This will be considered Plunging Attack DMG. Elemental Absorption may only occur once per use of Chihayaburu. |

Upon triggering a Swirl reaction, Kaedehara Kazuha will grant teammates a 0.04% Elemental DMG Bonus to their corresponding Element for every point of Elemental Mastery he has for 8s. Bonuses for different elements obtained through this method can co-exist. |

Kazuha Strength and Weakness
Kazuha demonstrates himself to be a highly mobile character capable of manipulating enemies on the battlefield. His tested builds are also versatile, allowing you to have a healthy mix of elemental mastery and regular stats like critical rate and damage.
In comparison to other Anemo characters, he does not specialize in grouping enemies. So don’t expect him to be simple to use when crowd control is required.
If you want to use him as your main damage dealer, you’ll need to use various workarounds. Without Kazuha’s sixth constellation, you’ll have to jump through several hoops just to use him as your main damage dealer.
Nonetheless, because of his adaptable play style, he will fit into a wide range of team compositions as a support character. Expect to see him with a variety of teammates, as all you really need is someone who isn’t a physical damage dealer to take advantage of everything he has to offer.

theres literally no way you just got kazuha like bruh he’s not even on the banner rn he’s on the banner on the next phase you dumbass
I’m so happy I finally got kazuha! He’s been my favorite character since I first saw him, and I’m so excited to start using him.
theres literally no way you just got kazuha like bruh he’s not even on the banner rn he’s on the banner on the next phase you dumbass
He is an absolute asset to my teams. He’s never been removed from one of my spiral abyss teams.
I’m using him as a main dps because he’s so versatile.
Kazuha is technically the best character in Genshin.
I remember how few people were pulling for Kazuha back then because they had no idea how strong he was.
I have Venti, but I really want Kazuha. He is not only powerful, but he also groups better than Venti.
Why do people believe he will only be a suppor?
I saved 59 intertwined fates and 9k primogems with guaranteed pity waiting for him.
You can obtain more sea ganoderma by visiting other players’ worlds.
Best wishes to everyone who is pulling on Samurai Boy.
i already collected all of kazuha ascension materials in preparation for his rerun
Why is he using diligence books on his talent level up materials?
if kazuha ascension stat is em then its better to build him as sub dps right?
this helped a lot, im going for him on his rerun and all i need from kazuha materials are talent books
I really want him, and my team needs more support and energy battery.
I already have him and intend to support xiao, but I’m not sure if they’ll make a good team.
I wouldn’t recommend, they may seem good together but aren’t really “compatible” (like venti-xiao) if you want to bring an anemo with xiao as a battery, use either sucrose or jean (if u can do xiao albedo zhongli/ning with Thrilling tales and jean) if not, xiao sucrose zhongli/fischl bennett
thanks for these information! I was able to complete kazuha materials and will surely get him on his next rerun!
Because his elemental power is so satisfying to use, Kazuha has to be the first five-star character I’ve had a lot of fun with.
I realize that two characters in your team must be of the same element in order to maximize Kazuha’s passive bonus.
I’ve never finished the spiral abyss since I keep dying and my damage isn’t quite there yet, but thanks to him, I was able to complete it for the first time.
I’d also like to point out that when swirl initiates a reaction, the reaction is determined by the anemo user. This means you can start chain reactions, and elecro charged is ideal for this because it holds both the hydro and elecro auras on the target, allowing you to swirl them.
