The total level-up materials required for each of Kazuha’s Talents are as follows:
Kazuha has the ability to manipulate Anemo and provides an Elemental DMG Bonus for members of his party. With his Elemental Skill, He can make frequent use of special Plunging Attacks that keep enemies grouped together, providing great support to his party.
|Garyuu Bladework | Attack|
|Normal||Perform up to 5 rapid strikes.|
|Charge||Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to unleash 2 rapid sword strikes.|
|Plunge||Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact. If this Plunging Attack is triggered by Chihayaburu, it will be converted to Plunging Attack: Midare Ranzan.|
|Plunge: Midare Ranzan||When a Plunging Attack is performed using the effects of the Elemental Skill Chihayaburu, Plunging Attack DMG is converted to Anemo DMG and will create a small wind tunnel via a secret blade technique that pulls in nearby objects and opponents.|
|Attributes||Level 1||Level 10|
|3-Hit DMG||25.8% + 30.96%||51% + 61.2%|
|5-Hit DMG||25.37% × 3||50.15% × 3|
|Charged Attack DMG||43% + 74.65%||85% + 147.56%|
|Charged Attack Stamina Cost||20||20|
|Low/High Plunge DMG||163.63% / 204.39%||323.46% / 404.02%|
Kazuha’s Normal Attack can deal Physical DMG to enemies with up to 5 strikes. Hold the attack button to consume a set amount of Stamina and deal high Physical DMG with two swift slashes to his front.
While Kazuha is airborne, pressing the attack button causes him to perform a Plunging Attack damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
|Chihayaburu | Skill|
|Unleashes a secret technique as fierce as the rushing wind that pulls objects and opponents towards Kazuha’s current position before launching opponents within the AoE, dealing Anemo DMG and lifting Kazuha into the air on a rushing gust of wind.|
|Press||Can be used in mid-air.|
|Hold||Charges up before unleashing greater Anemo DMG over a larger AoE than Press Mode.|
|Plunging: Midare Ranzan||Within 10s of remaining airborne after casting Chihayaburu, Kazuha can unleash a powerful Plunging Attack known as Midare Ranzan. When a Plunging Attack is performed using the effects of the Elemental Skill Chihayaburu, the Plunging Attack DMG is converted to Anemo DMG. On landing, Kazuha creates a small wind tunnel via a secret blade technique that pulls in nearby objects and opponents. Midare Ranzan’s DMG is considered a Plunging Attack DMG.|
|Attributes||Level 1||Level 15|
|Press Skill DMG||192%||456%|
|Press CD||6 Seconds||6 Seconds|
|Hold Skill DMG||260.8%||619.4%|
|Hold Cooldown||9 Seconds||9 Seconds|
Tap his Elemental Skill to unleash a secret blade technique pulling enemies and objects toward him, launching enemies within his range, and dealing Anemo DMG. Kazuha uses the gust of wind generated in this moment to soar up into the air.
For a short period after using Chihayaburu, while Kazuha remains airborne he can unleash a powerful Plunging Attack “Midare Ranzan”. The DMG dealt by this Plunging Attack is converted to Anemo DMG. When Kazuha lands, he uses another secret blade technique to create a wind tunnel that pulls in nearby enemies and objects. With this effect, Kazuha can concentrate enemies in one place, allowing other party members to attack more efficiently.
Chihayaburu is a skill that can be used while airborne giving Kazuha great agility when out exploring. When Chihayaburu is held instead of tapped, Kazuha deals increased Anemo DMG over a wider area. After unlocking the Talent “Soumon Swordsmanship,” Kazuha’s Elemental Skill can absorb Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, or Electro when cast.
If a “Midare Ranzan” Plunging Attack is performed before Chihayaburu’s effects expire it deals additional Elemental DMG of the absorbed element. Only one elemental absorption can occur per Chihayaburu.
|Kazuha Slash | Burst|
|The signature technique of Kazuha’s self-styled bladework — a single slash that strikes with the force of the first winds of autumn, dealing AoE Anemo DMG. The blade’s passage will leave behind a field named “Autumn Whirlwind” that periodically deals AoE Anemo DMG to opponents within its range.|
|Elemental Absorption||If Autumn Whirlwind comes into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro, it will deal additional elemental DMG of that type. Elemental Absorption may only occur once per use.|
|Attributes||Level 1||Level 15|
|Additional Elemental DMG||36%||85.5%|
|Duration||8 seconds||8 seconds|
|Cooldown||15 Seconds||15 Seconds|
Kaedehara Kazuha’s Elemental Burst is the pinnacle achievement of his self-taught bladework. He strikes with the force of the first winds of autumn, dealing AoE Anemo DMG. This attack produces a field called Autumn Whirlwind and the field periodically deals Anemo DMG to enemies within it.
If Autumn Whirlwind comes into contact with Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, or Electro it will absorb that element and deal additional Elemental DMG. This elemental absorption may only occur once in its duration. Kazuha can use the Autumn Whirlwind field to easily affect multiple enemies with an element creating ideal opportunities for his allies to attack.
For a set duration after Kazuha triggers a Swirl reaction, all party members receive a DMG Bonus for the corresponding element. The Bonus scales off of Kazuha’s Elemental Mastery, If multiple Elemental DMG Bonuses are gained in this manner, they are applied concurrently.
Kazuha Passive Talents

|If Chihayaburu comes into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro when cast, Chihayaburu will absorb that element and if Plunging Attack: Midare Ranzan is used before the effect expires, it will deal an additional 200% ATK of the absorbed elemental type as DMG. This will be considered Plunging Attack DMG. Elemental Absorption may only occur once per use of Chihayaburu.|
|Poetics of Fuubutsu|

Kazuha Strength and Weakness
Kazuha demonstrates himself to be a highly mobile character capable of manipulating enemies on the battlefield. His tested builds are also versatile, allowing you to have a healthy mix of elemental mastery and regular stats like critical rate and damage.
In comparison to other Anemo characters, he does not specialize in grouping enemies. So don’t expect him to be simple to use when crowd control is required.
If you want to use him as your main damage dealer, you’ll need to use various workarounds. Without Kazuha’s sixth constellation, you’ll have to jump through several hoops just to use him as your main damage dealer.
Nonetheless, because of his adaptable play style, he will fit into a wide range of team compositions as a support character. Expect to see him with a variety of teammates, as all you really need is someone who isn’t a physical damage dealer to take advantage of everything he has to offer.
