Foods are the consumable items that are used for buffing, healing, and reviving characters Genshin Impact. Foods can be acquired from Cooking once a player unlocked the recipe for a specific dish and some of them can be purchased from NPC. On this page, we will list all different types of foods that are currently available in the game.
There are three different types of dish quality and each quality has the ability to increase or decrease the stats a character can get. Regardless of dish quality, the duration of these buffs will always be the same. Additionally, players have a chance to receive a Special Dish when cooking based on the character used. These dishes are guaranteed to have better bonus stats or additional effects. To learn more about the in-depth mechanics of Cooking and a list of Character special dishes visit our Cooking Guide.
A character’s Fullness Gauge will be maxed out for 40 seconds when they eat too many recovery dishes at once. The rate of filling for the gauge is -0.3% per second and is depleted when a character is down or if they’re in a Full State.
Consuming multiple food buffs is an important part of combat. Players can consume food that provides a buff to either party stats or just a health boost. These buffs can be mixed and matched in any way you like, but characters can only have one active at a time from the four types: Offensive, Defensive, Elemental, and Stamina.
