Fading Twilight Passive

The effects of Fading Twilight have three states that correspond to the damage bonus applied to the character. Maximum refinements will yield 12%, 20%, and 28%, respectively. When you hit an opponent, you can only switch between states once every 7 seconds. When the state changes, an icon will appear above the character to let you know. There are three arrowheads corresponding to the buff level, from lowest to highest.

While it’s an interesting mechanic, it runs the risk of some characters dealing inconsistent damage, especially if they rely on reaction damage. For example, you’d rather trigger a vaporize during the maximum damage bonus than the lowest damage bonus.

Controlling your current state requires a lot of conscious effort. In most cases, you’ll have to hope that the highest damage buffs are active during your equipped character’s damage up time. The damage bonus is universally applicable except in transformative reactions, making this a relatively universal bow.

Hmmmm.. I was wondering if this bow would be beneficial to physical Fischl. Fading Twilight vs. R2 Rust, will it be fading twilight who wins?

Would Fading Twilight be better for Diona than the Favonious?

Nope.. Diona damage is pretty much irrelevant. Favonius and Sacrificial bow passives are better.

This bow is surprisingly really good
