Barbara Skills
There’s not that much complexity when it comes to Barbara’s skills. Both her elemental burst and skill scale off from the amount of Health she has, so if you want to shower your team with big heals, just make sure to get a lot of health equipment.
Perform up to 4 water splash attacks that deal Hydro DMG.
Charge Attack
Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to deal AoE Hydro DMG after a short casting time.
Plunge Attack
Gathering the might of Hydro, Barbara plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in her path. Deals AoE Hydro DMG upon impact with the ground.
Her basic attack performs up to 4 splash attacks that deal puro Hydro damage and her charge attack consumes a bit of stamina while also dealing AoE hydro damage.
Melody Loop:
- Barbara’s Normal Attacks heal your characters in the party and nearby allied characters for a certain amount of HP, which scales with Barbara’s Max HP.
- Her Charged Attack generates 4 times the amount of healing.
- Regenerates a certain amount of HP at regular intervals for your active character.
- Applies the Wet status to the character and opponents who come in contact with them.
Her elemental skill summons musical note water droplets around your character while dealing hydro damage to enemies. This elemental skill has the unique effect of applying wet status to you and your allies as Barbara can be swapped out while the skill is active. Because the skill stays out when swapped, this allows you to set up creative elemental reaction combinations to turn the tide of battle. However, this added benefit does come at a cost of being a double-edged sword as enemies can react to your wet status as well.
While her elemental skill is active, Barbara’s normal attacks will also have the ability to heal party members and nearby allies within co-op which scales off her max HP. Her charge attack will generate four times the amount of healing as well. If Barbara is swapped out the character within the elemental skill will regenerate a certain amount of HP in intervals that also scales off Barbara’s max HP.
Barbara’s elemental burst heals party members and co-op allies for a large amount that indeed also scales of Barbara’s max HP. Keep in mind this skill does not deal any damage but the animation does last long enough to get you enough of instability to get out of sticky situations and avoid possible death.

These are the total materials needed to reach the max Ascension level for Barbara. They can be acquired from Oceanid, Samachurls, and Philanemo Mushroom can be collected under the eaves of houses in Mondstat City and Springvale.
Barbara Constellations
New constellation’s passive abilities can be unlocked for Barbara each time you obtain a character’s specific item called Stella Fortuna and these upgrades can permanently enhance Barbara in various ways.
