How To Play Itto
Arataki Itto isn’t your typical brawler because he has some great mechanics for people who want to master his play style in order to get the best big numbers. Even if he excels in one team, there are a lot of interesting options for boosting his damage even more.
Itto is nearly useless without his burst, so you should concentrate on obtaining those Superlative stacks. This can then be consumed by transforming charged attacks into Arataki Kesagiri slashes.
Superlative Superstrength Stack
Itto’s Superlative Superstrength stack count is always visible on his back and you can obtain up to a maximum of 5 stacks. When he reaches the limit, there will be this cool explosion animation to let you know it’s time to unleash his slashes.
You can gain 1 stack by landing his 2nd normal attack or 2 stacks by landing 4th normal attack. Basically, you can gain 3 of these stacks by just doing his complete normal attack combo.
The cool thing about him is that you can interrupt his combo by doing a quick dash or using his skill and then resume the combo. You don’t even need to land his 1st or 3rd normal attack in a row because the game only cares about his 2nd and 4th hits connecting. You can wave his weapon around, land the 4th normal attack, and still gain 2 stacks.
When Itto is in burst mode, his 1st and 3rd normal attacks now grant 1 stack, allowing you to gain 5 stacks by simply unloading his entire normal attack combo.
However, the real deal begins with his elemental skill. Not only is Ushi adorable, but he will also be a huge source of stacks. You can gain 1 stack by simply hitting your enemy, 1 more stack after the Ushi disappears, and finally, you can gain up to 2 stacks within 6 seconds after Ushi is hit by an enemy.
Combo Rotation
Arataki Itto’s damage is primarily focused on using Charged Attack while in burst mode. Make sure you have 5 stacks of Superlative Superstrength before using his Charge Attack to maximize your damage.

Itto Review
Arataki Itto is definitely one of the more interesting new characters released in Genshin Impact. Not just because of his mechanics but the fact miHoYo artificially have introduced a pretty powerful team composition you can utilize with him. Seeing how Geo doesn’t really get along that well with other elements, why not just build your own Mono Geo supremacy team and have fun with smashing enemies away.
Great C0 Potental
Itto’s damage potential is high even at C0, and while someone like Noelle could lead the Mono Geo team, he definitely revitalizes this newest trendy variant.
Good Elemental Skill
One of his best features is his elemental skill, which not only has a decent damage multiplier but also provides a good amount of particles. It also taunts, which help him in keeping his opponents steady for some bashing.
High Energy Cost
There are some notable drawbacks, such as his high burst cost, which limits his team variation options.
Burst Requires Commitment
Unlike Noelle, switching him out ends the burst, which is sometimes necessary if you want to heal him or restart some of the buffs.
Shielded Enemies
Even if Geo is capable of damaging enemy shields, it’s difficult to imagine Itto’s mono geo team not struggling against something like two Heralds from different elements, given that only one character from each element is viable.
Powerful Mono Geo Team Leader
Itto deserves to be the new face of Geo teams, and I’d say that for veterans of the game looking to form a new team that doesn’t rely on any other popular characters, it’s something worth considering, especially if you like the whole combo playstyle approach Itto offers.

Due to my high pity, I was able to get him in one pull. I had no idea how I was going to use him.
Itto also works well with 2 piece emblem and sacrificial greatsword, allowing him to work with off-field damagers outside of geo teams.
I’m currently working on Itto in order to make him my next main DPS.
Who’s here now that his next rerun has been announced? I’m absolutely going to get him.

The fact that most players are rolling for Hu Tao banner means they aren’t saving for Arataki Itto.
Which means Itto will be more playable in Co-op, yes this is very good.
